This audio technology from Olympus automatically detects the difference between a voice and a rustling sound from your shirt and effectively suppresses only the unwanted noise. To start recording on the go, simply slide the REC switch on the top of the unit upwards. The recorder starts recording immediately, even if it is switched off. The VP20 is also equipped with a combined microphone/headphone jack that supports external microphones such as the Olympus TP8 microphone for teleconferencing.
