Conventional electrician's screwdrivers often have a blade diameter that is too large to reach deepseated screws. However, removing the insulation is not permitted and poses a safety risk. Wiha slimTECHNOLOGY, specially developed for electrical applications, integrates the protective insulation into the blade, enabling thinner blades. As a result, the slimBits can also reach deeplying screw and spring elements without any problems. The insulated slimBits are individually tested according to the IEC 60900 standard and allow safe working on live parts up to 1,000 V AC. The slimBits are stored in two bit boxes that can be combined with each other and provide an optimal view of the screw profiles. With the belt clip included, the slimBit boxes are the ideal companion for mobile use.
